NoSoup4you 843

NoSoup4you has a newer deck inspired by this one: Smoke Yourself Thin

Same concept as the earlier version, but I've tweaked it to be more consistent in the early game. I got tired of having a hand full of Daeron's Runes and no Wizard Pipe with which to play it.

STRATEGY RECAP: Rush pipes out, cycle threat reduction events with Galadhrim Weaver to draw a shitload of cards. Put a million attachments on Gandalf.

CHANGES:

  • Removed Steward of Gondor. It was boring and unthematic, and you already look like enough of a dick playing Gandalf in multiplayer. Staff + Cache will meet your needs well enough.
  • Switched Daeron's Runes for Campfire Tales
  • Removed a Treasure Hunter, added a third staff
  • Removed Skinbark and Preserver, they were unwieldy to get out
  • Added Quickbeam
  • Added Horse-Breeder. It's a cheap willpower/chump that will buy you time early on, and you can also just play one if you don't like the top card of your deck. If you happen to find Shadowfax or SoI with it, so much the better.
  • Added Steed of Imladris as an incidental combo with Horse-Breeder. Gives you something to do with those extra uniques later on.
  • Added a third Bill. Amazing early ally, and you can chump him whenever you draw the next one.
  • Some misc redistributing of stuff, based on what tended to sit in my hand a lot

"Million attachments"? I don't think your math checks out, bro.

;)

Does this one work well? I can't wait to try it!

If you get it up and running, it's comically powerful. Of course you might faceplant into too many enemies early on or something.
