Carder89 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Beravor Necessities RtM
For the Dead Marshes I added a little bit more combat capability to this deck to deal with trolls and strength-based escape tests. The Vassal of the Windlord are excellent for this as they don't get discarded after an escape test.
Gildor's Counsel has gone up to 2, because it can prevent multiple escape tests, especially if you know from Denethor or Henamarth Riversong what the top card of the encounter deck is. It is still a little expensive for this deck.
Denethor can defend very well with A Burning Brand and some Dúnedain Warning from the other player. The extra with a copy of Song of Wisdom can be put on a defender from another player.
