Con of the Rings 2023 Deck #1 - Noldor
This is the first of five decks I will be bringing to this year's Con of the Rings. My goal with the decks is to be able to play them with my physical collection and to minimise potential uniqueness conflicts wherever possible. I also don't want anything too janky - I don't want to drag the team down!
The first is a fairly typical Noldor deck. Noldor is one of my go-to power decks as I really enjoy the playstyle and it just performs when I need it to. The other advantage is that there is not a lot of overlap between this deck and the others in terms of cards used.
The basic goal of the deck is to use the combination of Erestor and To the Sea, to the Sea! to flood the board with Noldor allies and overpower the quest.
In terms of uniqueness conflicts, Erestor can be swapped out for Galdor of the Havens, with a few other deck changes, and will still function just fine. Any of the unique cards in the deck can be swapped out too, with the exception of To the Sea, to the Sea!, for only a minor drop in effectiveness. However, I don't have replacements for Arwen Undómiel and Círdan the Shipwright, so if they have a conflict I will need to use an alternative deck.
The sideboard has a few swaps for uniques if needed, as well as some useful events.
