I wasn't sure how this deck would be; I'd never made an Erestor deck without the crutch of Spirit/recursion before. I felt convinced it would run out of cards and end in catastrophe.
But it did not! And this deck is also a lot of fun. It's not a questing powerhouse, but it can hold down combat fairly well. The beauty, of course, in an Erestor deck is finding a way to not waste cards that will be discarded. With Trollshaw Scout, Watcher of the Bruinen, Elven Spear, and Protector of Lórien, we can be sure that every card goes to some use, in the least being discarded for the greater good.
One weak spot in this deck is resource acceleration, but I haven't found that to be as great a limitation as I had feared. Between Beregond's ability, all the cheap, cheap attachments and A Good Harvest for emergency situations, you will give the heroes their toys, and healing will abound across the table as well.
