Nothing is more fun than playing a pure combat deck in solo. For siege questing, try to get out your Defenders of Rammas and Winged Guardians. I also usually quest with Boromir, since I can ready him if I need to. Try to get a shield on Beregond too: there are some nasty enemies and shadow cards. Maybe chump with an eagle for the Battering Ram to boost Eagles of the Misty Mountains. Defend with Beorn if you have to.
