goal is to play 2-3 allies per round. that is ppossible with the discount from grima + Keys of Orthanc so you have an aquvilant of 5 res each round to pay and start with 2 extra 1 round from denethor.
playing solo you can add The One Ring ans either make denethor an healed defender with Well Preserved or true leader with Power of Command
you have an additional oncrease of thread each round because of Grímas ability but most szenarios are done in about 10 rounds and that will be enough.
little tricks:
- recycle discarded attachment or cram with Erebor Hammersmith
- Elrond only cost 2 with Gríma
- cancel with Halfling Bounder
- other cancel with Dunedain Lookout
- Dori for safety measures
- Miner of the Iron Hills to get rid of nasty attachments
- Angbor the Fearless when reaching thread of 40
