We can rebuild him...we have the technology.
Watch as Arwen reforges a bear..Grimbeorn..to completely lock down an entire phase of the game.
With Reforged we can let Arwen's resource acceleration and resources pay for attachments on Grimbeorn. This frees up Grimbeorn to use his resource in the combat phase for his ability. With a fully reforged bear and an Honour Guard out you'll have essentially 6 and then can clap back for what amounts to a max of 10 .
The allies are mix of cheap Bilbo Baggins, Galadriel's Handmaiden, West Road Traveller. And utility, Gléowine, Gandalf, Lindir.
Pippin is there to splash for healing on Grimbeorn and added card draw. Also, since we have Elrond's Counsel in the deck we can utilize Hobbit Pipe for additional card draw. With Elronds Counsel I was pretty surprised about how many times I was able to trigger his ability as well.
There are other targets for Reforged as well if you manage to get the bear rebuilt without needing to use the event. You can reforge a Magic Ring or everyone's favorite... piping hot out of the forge...Lembas.
