Deck Goal

Develop a reasonable deck with just revised core cards and leadership heroes. I was particularly trying to beat Weathered Hills.

Playing

  • The many spirit resources are really reliant on Aragorn getting Celebrían's Stone.
  • Then Steward of Gondor goes on Aragorn. Resources for leadership cards are always paid from Gloin and Theodred first.
  • Beorn is mostly there for an additional Sneak Attack combination.

Outcome

I did beat Weathered Hills on First play through with this deck. That said, I could see the deck really struggling for the times where you don’t see Celebrian’s Stone. Also, if you do get Steward of Gondor, you can easily struggle with card draw and excess of resources.
