The idea behind this deck is to give out attachments to (most of the time) other players. As such, it is really only intended to work in multiplayer. With Elfhelm, you are even giving out additional boosts with every mount you play.
Glóin is the resource machine. He is the target for the first Citadel Plate, Dwarven Shield, Self Preservation and Narvi's Belt. Depending on the needs around the table, Steward of Gondor can also go on him - if you're using it to pay for the attachments everyone else needs, you can potentially justify it.
Bifur helps smooth resources into and means you can use Narvi's Belt for just the and resource icons.
Elfhelm makes sure you'll get the most out of the many mounts you're going to be handing out.
The allies help get attachments out of the deck or discard pile, the events help with resources. There are some other ideas on the sideboard that are a little more situational. Probably getting set-up is the challenge here but the heroes are well-balanced enough to contribute from turn 1, and hopefully by the end of the first turn, Glóin can find a few ways to get hurt...
Looking around for similar decks, Seastan's solo Gloin deck is more elegant and is focused on putting everything on Gloin. But hopefully this deck gives a fair account the dwarf's characteristic selflessness :/
You should try to get your buddies to run Renewed Friendship XD!
