Overview

this deck is based arround the idea of Frodo Baggins, Glorfindel, and Aragorn. notice aragorn has been changed to Thurindir. this is because thurindir lets you get a sidequest, typically you will grab gather information so you can garuntee a card in your deck in your hand. or you can get the storm comes to help get out your allies. this is huge, being able to garuntee a card in your hand after one or two turns is great to help you win. it provides consistency to the deck that aragorn couldnt. another thing is i have found in my testing that you dont need aragorn to reduce your threat, i have had no trouble with threat.

opening hand

look for light of valinor and any form of readying for frodo, or treebeard. other than that nothing is super necessary, because anything you could want after the game starts you can get with gather information if you put it into your hand.

choose a side quest

the side quest that you should choose is between gather information or the storm comes. if you dont have light of valinor, always go for gather information. if your hand is full of lore allies and you have a light of valinor, grab the storm comes

cards/roles

threat reduction- elronds counsel, the galadhrims greeting, gandalf, and galadrials handmaiden, double back

defense- Frodo, treebeard, gildor inglorion, arwen undómiel

location/encounter deck control a test of will, asfaloth, ghan-buri-ghan, mirkwood explorer, scout ahead

card draw- ancient mathom, gleowine, daerons runes

healing- warden of healing

readying fast hitch, unexpected courage

how the deck runs

build up your board and your willpower and deal with enemies as they come along. this deck can hold enemies for multiple turns thanks to frodo so dont worry about engaging and not being able to kill the enemy. nust keep pushing through and the deck takes alot of hits before it can be stopped. arwen helps frodo take less threat and treebeard makes combat easier, enjoy!
