Apr 22, 2016A good question! This is my first Outlands deck and I thought I'd just stick Sword-thain in for a laugh. Of course, I would be getting an extra resource per turn from the extra hero... |
Apr 22, 2016I think it will take to long for it to pay off. How about playing Heir of Mardil instead, to get an extra ready-effect for a hero? |
Apr 22, 2016I think you might be better off Sword-thaining Faramir to make him a viable target for Unexpected Courage, instead. (Not like Forlong really needs another ready effect.) Of course, using Sword-thain on Faramir would mean Sword of Morthond was useless, as it only works on Gondor allies, not heroes. |
Apr 22, 2016I'll give both those ideas a go. Thanks guys. I'll drop Sword-thain and bring in Heir of Mardil and see how I get on. Any suggestions for a good quest to go up against? |
Apr 23, 2016For a quest to test it on, I have no idea. I'd just go with what you played against before and see how it turns out. |
Why do you need Sword-thain? Just to make Tome of Atanatar 1 resource cheaper?
