Two Roommates Venture into Mirkwood and Hunt for Gollum

Background

This fellowship represents my first attempt to build decks. I somehow convinced my roommate that he should try this game. So far we have enjoyed venturing into Mirkwood and Hunting Gollum.

These decks are built using one core set and one copy of each AP from the Hunt for Gollum cycle.

Brent's Deck

The deck is all about offensive and defensive. Denethor and Legolas are great at dispatching enemy cards, especially with the boosts from Hunter's deck. Beravor is a decent quester if need be but she is included primary for card draw. Radagast and his eagle friends are a fun way to "win more" in most scenarios.

Hunter's Deck

This deck is designed to quest, buff, and provide some additional card draw. Éowyn and Théodred are the dedicated questers. Eleanor does a great job cancelling any nasty shadow effects you may come across. While there may seem like a large number of leadership cards with only one hero, most leadership cards included can be bought quickly by giving Theodred the additional resource he collects when committed to the quest.
