Mythicos 13
This is part of the "Jinxed thunder" Fellowship.
It is easier to put this deck in another Fellowship than "Scouting side trek", but many cards from that deck are necessary (the mounts, Legacy Blade , Unexpected Courage , Herugrim ) to really make "Army of Doom" shine.
Playing this deck is relatively basic:
1- Try to boost Beregond ASAP, with Raiment of War if at all possible. Beregond is, unsurprisingly, the main blocker for the entire Fellowship, able to block multiple times with key attachments (Unexpected Courage ) and events (Behind Strong Walls ).
2- Théoden is there so the deck can hold its own when questing. Between his ability and Rally the West (from the "Scouting side trek" deck), Heroes in this deck can quest for a total of 10 on turn 2 if necessary.
3- Furthermore, Théoden can put insane amounts of damage if equipped with Legacy Blade and Herugrim .
4- Prince Imrahil's job is to provide quick support during combat, making use of the "Enters play" effect of the deck's allies.
5- Sword-thain is in the deck because it wants to have as many heroes as possible for the scenarios that force you to use Heroes for tasks such as the Fortitude test of Mount Doom. Any of the big allies are suited for this. Sword-thain can also be used on your teammate's allies if neeeded.
