I know, I know, 55 cards....

As the name suggests, it's all about being able to ready your characters, or at least keep them from exhausting, so they can be played multiple times in a round. It's also about deck management, both by being able to draw cards you want, and also being able to reuse cards from the discard pile.

The first few games indicated that resource management was quite tough, so I added Steward of Gondor to account for this.

The first game following the addition of Steward of Gondor, I had total resource overflow, which was great. The freedom that provided was a huge bonus. Playing it on Aragorn along with Celebrían's Stone, and you have the freedom to spend cross-sphere.

The strongest part of this decks contribution to solving each game's puzzle, is through Willpower. Keeping threat low is also important.

There are many different engines and combos in this deck. One that I am particularly fond of is the Galadriel, Mirror of Galadriel, Silver Harp, the addition of Imladris Stargazer makes the deck management pretty useful, and if you have Elven-light in the discard deck, then you can effectively draw 3 cards in a turn that you've planned out, and then set up Elven-light again ready for the next turn by using it to gain another resource thanks to Arwen Undómiel. That's a super efficient return.

The inclusion of Mirror of Galadriel means that deck size isn't a massive issue. Combo that with Silver Harp, and the hand is safe. Lindir was included in order to help balance those times when hand size is reducing, which can happen.

At the moment, there are so many opportunities, combinations, and small engines with this deck. The biggest concern is that it might be a deck that is hugely reliant on the first hand. To which I would mulligan for at least one of the more important cards mentioned above.

The cards in the sideboard are just a few of the cards I have my eye on to consider adding in the future, or that I've removed from earlier iterations.

I had logged a couple of play-by-play quests for earlier versions of this deck but removed them, as I found out I played some cards incorrectly, thus invalidating the games (Light of Valinor doesn't do anything when attached to Galadriel, as she doesn't exhaust to commit to a quest, when Nenya is attached to her.).

maybe it would be a good idea to up light of valinor and sword that was broken to at least 2 if not 3

@jvaderI think I'd be more inclined to add a Song of Kings than a second Sword that was Broken, because it's neutral, and because it only costs 1 not 3. The second Light of Valinor is offset by the inclusion of Unexpected Courage, but in a reverse here where the extra cost offsets the need for the hero to be Silvan or Noldor.

I am tempted to add a third Imladris Stargazer.

If I change up to a 60 card deck, I might well start playing around with Galadriel's Handmaiden soon, too, maybe combining it with Children of the Sea. That seems like a good little threat reducing engine. Maybe even adding Map of Earnil back into the deck.
