• Play Legolas with Unlikely Friendship for low starting threat, early rounds resource boost and crucial cards finding.

• Imladris Stargazer for player deck control. And card prediction.

• Zigil Miner for discarding and resource farming.

• Erebor Guard, Longbeard Sentry, King Under the Mountain, Ring of Thrór will be happy to assist with card discarding too.

• Try to discard Ered Luin Miner and Hidden Cache foremost.

• Gimli is the best Ally for promoting to the Hero! Do not play him for full price from the hand. Discard it with plenty dwarf abilities, then call back him with To me! O my kinsfolk! and use Well-Equipped for discard Sword-thain. Attach Sword-thain to Gimli, he loses Ally status with Sword-thain, so you shouldn't discard him at the end of the phase.

• Another way to play Gimli for 1 resource only is Sneak Attack and then attaching Sword-thain.

• Play Resourceful for free with Imladris Stargazer and Well-Equipped to Dáin Ironfoot or Óin depending on your situation.

• Please note, you cannot play Ring of Thrór directly to the Hero with Well-Equipped. "Gurded" will occurs after attaching, and it should be moved to the staging area. But it still be free. :)
