is Thengel really op?

not sure. think this deck is good but not so much better than classical radaast-eagles. but its different and can use cards that otherwise are not so much used.

mulligan for Radagast's Staff. thx to staff and (MotK) Halfast Gamgee abiity (put on radagast) Eagles of the Misty Mountains could theoreticially be played 1. round. but that is not even the best option to begin with. Thengel ability can be used with:

with Drinking Song it should not be hard to start with at least one of the options. try to get expensive creatures for the cheap ones that trigger Thengel

cardsdraw is lackin, only Messenger Raven (+pipe) and the 3 tacticdos draw themselfs.

Have you considered adding Steward of Gondor (theoretically playable round 1 if Halfast Gamgee targets himself)?

Sick deck man! Super creative use of Thengel and the many dogs. The Eagles Are Coming! could potentially help with card draw.

yea adding Steward of Gondor and Gandalf would definetly edges the bounder of op-ness

replacing (MotK) Halfast Gamgee with Denethor would make the steward intheme. for those who want to reach the optimum, consider that. with the hobbbit the Drinking Song is more effective but Denethor possibly add more startingpunch.

Cool idea! Would (MotK) Pippin or Éowyn be better? I am not sure how important the additional resource is. I think access to The Eagles Are Coming! and Golden Shield may be worth it.

then i have to skip all ld-events and specially Salvaged Supplies used on radagast is cool. do not know what is better.
