NERD 808

Another entry in my addiction to The Last Alliance. (I forgot the contract... oops)

The key combo is using Birna to send in Beorn or Giant Bear. Your huge beast can help out with combat and be returned to your hand through The Elvenking. Then, you can repeat this the next turn. Thranduil can let you buy the allies easier, especially Legolas who helps with card draw. This deck is primarily intended for solo play. It has a decent bit of healing, action advantage, and location control. The Tree People and Beorning Skin-changer can cheat out high-cost allies. It's not that powerful, but it is fairly well-rounded. Most importantly, bouncing bears into play is absurdly enjoyable.

Have Fun,

for my taste its to clunky. you need to much efford:

and for what? the same as a Sneak Attack would have done. i think this is not very effective.

i can understand the goal to do beorning-silvan-shenanigans, but i think, either

  1. use (MotK) Birna or
  2. use the The Last Alliancecontract, but than do not fokus on birna, you do not start with her.

if doing 1, you cannot use The Last Alliance, but have more options to get more Sneak Attack out (e.g. with a spirithero and Galadhrim Weaver, then i would perhaps include Stand and Fight to recycle the Beorning Skin-changer

doing 2. an alternative would be to use a tactichero instead of Celeborn (if you want to use the contract for The Elvenking you cannot use it for Celeborns ability, so he is less important. either Legolas or Grimbeorn the Old would be options. the benefit is, you do not need Thranduil ability with the contract to pay for birna or another beorning, and can more freely combine The Tree People with the contract

no matter which way, or keeping your original version, Sneak Attack will help to bounc more bears (and that is all about it right? ;) ) and The Storm Comes help to be more flexible with allies, and perhaps do not need the contract for Thranduils ability.

overall i think this deck is more for multiplayer as fightingdeck than for solo (except using 1. with a spirithero)

Stand and Fight is a good idea. I also forget about and ignore Sneak Attack. It would make the deck better.
