Master of Lore 930
With the release of Narya, my Wielders of the Three deck can finally live up to its namesake!
There are a lot of attachments here, but the most essential are Vilya and Unexpected Courage on Elrond and Gandalf's toys. Galadriel draws cards until everything is more or less setup and then she can contribute to questing with Nenya. Pretty much everything else (except the obvious) goes on Elrond who, when completely equipped, quests for free with Light of Valinor, defends shadow-free with A Burning Brand, and puts a high cost ally into play for free with Vilya.
To muster attack strength, bounce Beorn in and out of play with the Wizard Pipe and Vilya. Our much-maligned Brok Ironfist is in there to combo with Flame of Anor to give Gandalf some epic battles as well.
There is a lot to keep track of in this deck, but you have seemingly infinite ways to draw cards and mess with your deck in order to get cards into play. You really feel like you are playing the most powerful characters in Middle-earth with this deck. Try it, you'll like it.
The Wielders of Three article on my blog explains more of the lore behind this deck (pre-Narya) and features a thematic playthrough video against Journey in the Dark. Enjoy!
