Gandalf with toys and some big friends.
Gandalf + Denethor + Gríma is the default Hero selection, but both Aragorn and Glorfindel can be used for quests needing high , direct damage healing or with high threat rising.
Ally selection is based on Ents and a few cheap blockers to turtle the first rounds. Because you can play without cards in hand, and some quests of the cycle punish hand size, I included Guardian of Rivendell too, and Cloak of Lórien to make them great defenders.
Word of Command is used to look for most needed card. Note that Flame of Anor can be used on Planning phase to ready Gandalf.
Out of the Wild and Keen as Lances are included for some threat reduction and work well with Flame of Anor if needed.
Sideboard includes Condition removal and Location control. The White Council is included for quests with Attachment removal and quests that require questing and defending on the first round.
