A Lore + Spirit progression deck designed to beat The Hunt for Gollum adventure. The deck can be built using 1 core set and cards released up to The Hunt for Gollum.
The aim of this deck is to burn through the encounter deck as quickly as possible, avoid combat and quest aggressively.
Strategy:
Put Song of Kings onto a character as soon as possible to pay for Leadership cards, then Steward of Gondor for resource generation.
Use Denethor and Gléowine's abilities to scry the encounter deck at every opportunity so you know what will be coming off the deck, and can burn through the deck faster in your search for Clues.
Neutralise Hunters from Mordor with Forest Snare or destroy them with Gandalf/Beorn + Sneak Attack, or avoid them altogether using Denthor's ability.
If The Old Ford enters play use Strider's Path to immediately travel there.
Use Lórien Guide to clear active locations.
