Why Beorn when you can use Na'asiyah instead for Glóin's resource abuse?

I honestly don’t see the 2 heroes as comparable... I am using this deck in a 4 player game and will be blocking multiple times without exhausting with Beorn and then still getting an attack of 5 from him.

I don't see the standard toolkit for Beorn's defenses neither damage cancelation package, that's why I asked.

I have damage canceling from honour guard and vigilant guard, plus a way to bring him back. What more would you recommend?

@Hellkite, a card that is stapple to the Beorn pack is Close Call along with all the reducer cards from the sphere.
