Roka 1584

This a thematic deck build around Frodos and Sams journey to Mordor. The only other Characters in the deck are Galadriel and Rosie Cotton, who, even if they were not actually there, inspired the two friends and motivated them to keep going.

These three heroes are not just for thematic reasons, but also gameplay-wise a good pairing, because Galadriel can compensate Frodo's threat raise, what helps again Sam to use his ability.

How to play: Mulligan for Mirror of Galadriel which is your main way of drawing cards. In the early game quest with Frodo and Sam and take attacks undefended on Frodo or block them with Sam. If you find Nenya, you can start to hold Frodo back for defending (Fast Hitch+Song of Wisdom works to). With Hobbit Cloak and Staff of Lebethron you shouldn't have to use his ability very often. Sam gets all the Songs, because you don't need a lot of Leadership ressources and becomes thanks to Fireside Song a decent quester.

Attack power is the main weakness of this deck, but if you can get Friend of Friends and Rosie into play, Sam is attacking for five. This can be in combination with a well timed Taste it Again! or In the Shadows be deadly, even for tougher enemies. Still, I suggest to pair this with a deck with ranged attackers (Haldir is a strong option). If you accept a little house ruling, you can also include Sting from the sideboard and put in on Frodo. This is actually illegal, but it makes more thematic sense then including DĂșnedain Mark.
