Denison 225

Deck Goal:

Cheat in the big allies every way possible. Bring consistency to A Very Good Tale by filling the deck with 37 four-cost allies. Use Thurindir and Gather Information to get a copy of AVGT. Elfhelm, Ranger of Cardolan and Elf-stone provide 9 one-resource cards to cheaply qualify for the event.

Opening Hand:

A Very Good Tale is the priority, but Gandalf or Elf-stone is good, too.

Strategies:

Quest with everyone in round 1 to make sure the sidequest is cleared and a copy of AVGT is drawn.

With 37 four-cost allies in the deck there should be options. Erestor and Galdor of the Havens are good options early to help with finding more copies of AVGT.

If heroes are taking too much damage, Ioreth or DĂșnedain Remedy can be used in favor of a few of the allies.

Longbeard Orc Slayer will be replaced with Knight of Dale when OCTGN gets updated.

Play-testing:

Beneath the Sands - This deck nearly trivialized this quest on the first try. Didn't get set up until round 3, but ended the game in 5 rounds with about 6 allies in play. Gandalf at the end sealed it.

Haha, nice... this is just the sort of goofy awesome deck I love. I never netdeck, but I think I'll have to give this one a try some time... well done.

Nice work! This was a lot of fun too play! I got to run it through a few quests and write up my thoughts on it on my blog: lotrdecktest.wordpress.com
