To this Curunír now assented, desiring that Sauron should be thrust from Dol Guldur, which was nigh to the River, and should have leisure to search there no longer. Therefore, for the last time, he aided the Council, and they put forth their strength; and they assailed Dol Guldur, and drove Sauron from his hold, and Mirkwood for a brief while was made wholesome again
The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien
This deck features all of the White Council's members: Gandalf, Galadriel, Elrond and Saruman (Círdan the Shipwright had to sail, so I hope you forgive me for excluding the fourth member). It also has every unique of the Noldor allies.
Like one of my previous decks this one starts with high threat, but thanks to Galadriel ability and to the Favor of the Valar you can survive long enough to fill the table with powerful allies.
The idea is to get Vilya as soon as possible, combined with at least one copy of Unexpected Courage on Elrond and a Wizard Pipe on Gandalf will let you put into play the most expensive allies as soon as they are in your hand or on the top of your deck facing up. Via this method you can play Sword-thain on one of the unique allies, you will also have an extra resource per round which will be very helpful.
The discard dinamics make this deck funny to play. If you can get the Mirror of Galadriel and a Silver Harp in the early stages of the game, you can look for a card among the first 10 ones of your deck without fearing loosing the same card you just picked. Extra copies of Silver Harp are needed to max out the benefits of the Steed of Imladris, Glorfindel and To the Sea, to the Sea! (if you can't get the Silver Harp soon enough, you can always discard the extra copies of the three rings and other unique attachments).
Every unique Noldo ally has its own ability, feel free to exploit them as needed, and the ones who are not unique (Imladris Caregiver and Master of the Forge) will let you heal your wounded and draw the attachments.
Personally I enjoy to watch the familiar picture of Galadriel, Elrond, Arwen Undómiel, Elladan and Elrohir: the grandmother, her son in law and her grandchildren. Only if Celebrian had a Palantir so she could watch her family while being in Valinor...
Please, any suggestions to improve this deck are welcomed, but keeping in mind that I enjoy doing thematic decks!
