This is a trap deck built with a limited collection. I just purchased the Dream Chaser cycle and updated it with a few tricks that came out that cycle.
Quick thoughts:
-This was made to complement a Tactics-only Gondor deck, so there’s a few extra Gondor characters. Ithilien Archers could be subbed for Wellinghall Preserver for more questing power but I have enjoyed the archers with Ranger Spears to kill off enemies that laugh at your traps or free up traps to use again. (Gondor deck: http://ringsdb.com/deck/view/120615 )
-This plays well solo but hits the usual roadblocks trap decks encounter. It needs a whole sideboard to beat a Siege stage.
-Henamarth Riversong in solo trap decks feels slimy. Save it for Nightmare scenarios. Instead, have more fun pushing enemies into traps with Guardian of Ithilien.
-Interrogation is the fun version of Henamarth.
-There is already a lot of card draw here with Damrod, Mithrandir's Advice and Master of the Forge. If you can handle higher threat to start, Haldir of Lórien is great instead of Pippin.
-Damrod likes Chainsmokers singles but not their albums.
For discussion: What cards have come out since the Dream Chaser cycle which could change a Lore-only trap deck?
