This is an upgraded version of the original deck.
Not many changes to the original, but Gúthwinë really gives the deck a new twist. With it (always attached to Théoden), it is easier to recycle your discarded or chumpblocker fellows, ensuring you keep the deck rolling if you need to take a lot of chumpblocks. This makes the deck less Gamling dependant.
Also, Golden Shield allows you to setup a powerful defender for less resources than I did in the original version, with Raiment of War. Usually I play it on Eowyn, along with Snowmane, so she's able to quest, and then defend an attack by 5.
It keeps lacking card draw, but with Open the Armory, Mustering the Rohirrim and Westfold Horse-breeder you have 7 "fetching" effects, which can serve in a similar way. Also, Guthwine can retrieve cards from your discard, which also serves as a "draw effect".
I'm still tweaking the deck, as I feel that maybe 3 copies of Éomund and 3 of Gamling are not needed now with Gúthwinë, anyway, I'm not sure of what to put in their slots.
