This deck is optimized to be played with the "Army of Doom" deck (see the "Jinxed thunder" Fellowship).
The main objective of this deck is three-fold:
1- Make sure that the Fellowship can get as many uses out of its heroes as possible, primarily fo Questing + Combat, but also for Scenarios that require other tasks (e.g. Sailing in the Grey Havens block);
2- Support the "Army of Doom" deck so it can fulfill its combat responsibilities;
3- Make sure the Fellowship has great questing capabilities.
Setup: Put Rally the West in your hand (using Thurindir ) with the objective of succeeding at it in the first turn.
Once this is done, a lot of cards like Halfling Bounder or Legacy Blade quickly allow you to beef up both combat and event-prevention capabilities.
The deck requires you to go through your deck fairly quickly while having enough ressources. This is where Gandalf shines, by combo-ing with cards like Expert Treasure-hunter or Hidden Cache .
To play Steward of Gondor , cast it from the top of your deck using Gandalf's Staff , with the help of Wizard Pipe if necessary.
