Warden of Arnor 5911
The release of Denethor opens up new options for the House of Stewards lineup, such as this tri-sphere blend, with very little since Denethor can just pass all his resources to his sons most of the time, both for playing cards and to power up Gondorian Fire. Power up the three heroes so Denethor can cover defence, Faramir can cover attack, and Boromir can do both, leaving the other players free to put much more emphasis on questing.

May 05, 2016Mostly thematic, yeah, I picked out the heroes before any of the rest of the deck, but he's also a good choice if you want a combat hero in , since he can get up to good attack numbers without even needing attachments on him (helped along by Ranger Spikes), he has Ranged, and he's Gondor so he can use Gondorian Fire. And having gives me all the card draw effects. |
May 06, 2016Oh yes, i forgot that Denethor has a condition: the hero must be gondor |
May 06, 2016When Arwen was first released I briefly forgot that she could only give resources to Noldor and Aragorn, thought it was everyone. It happens. |
May 06, 2016So how much do you use Boromir in this deck? Is he the primary focus to build up or is he just the defense or what? I don't see any threat reduction so it doesn't seem like he can be the primary focus without threating out. |
Why Faramir lore? Just thematic reason?
