I know. An Ent deck in the middle of all the Denthor madness. What can I say, it's thematic for the Ents to take their sweet time and show up late.

Getting Treebeard early is important to this deck. Elrond's ally resource smoothing combined with Treebeard means most Ents can be played as soon as they hit your hand. And you'll have a lot of them hitting your hand quickly with Entmoot, Mithrandir's Advice, and Daeron's Runes feeding you cards.

Like every Ent deck, it takes a couple of turns to get started, but a low starting threat and Pippin's card effect buy you extra time to build your furious forest. When it begins rolling, you will have an army of angry trees Questing and stomping everything in their path along with two Hobbits ready to add the extra punch to put you over the top.

SIDEBOARD NOTES

Master of the Forge and Daughter of the Nimrodel are in the sideboard, and could easily replace Warden of Healing if you're concerned about theme, or one of the card draw events if you're concerned about getting Vilya. Spare Hood and Cloak is another option for readying fun, if Halfling Determination's stat boosts aren't quite your blend of pipe-weed, though it depends on Vilya.

Ultimately, this is a fun deck that I've enjoyed playing with my group and might be an enjoyable diversion for you as well.
