Seastan 44447

For full details, see the Fellowship page or Youtube video.

There is a way to get infinite resources in this game, but it involves a specific encounter card from the quest Across the Ettenmoors, as well as a few key player cards.

Once Elrond has infinite resources, then the rest is easy. He can draw the whole deck thanks to another player playing In Service of the Steward and Rod of the Steward on him. Then he can play all the allies in the game down on the table thanks to his handy ability.

Without watching the video, your Fellowship has Hero Boromir and Ally Boromir, so unless you're planning on blowing up the former to make way for the latter...

@Kakita_ShiroSure, sound's like fun!

The Breaking of the Encounter Deck...

Reminds me when Seastan EMPTIED the encounter deck for nightmare Road to Rhosgobell...

Nice combo!

I bet Rod of the Steward will be errated by limiting 3 times per round.

Or at least they'll fix the location. Caleb probably whimper somewhere :D

Even if they errata Rod of the Steward, you can still use Erebor Hammersmith, Born Aloft, and Legacy of Durin to convert resources into cards, although it is harder to achieve the combo. I feel like a larger problem might be that valour action on Rallying Cry...

@Seastan. You magnificent bastard. It only quests for 346 though; somehow, I feel like you can do better.

@electronjon Meh, just add Song of Travel and Lay of Nimrodel to Elrond; quest for infinite willpower! Which completely ignores Gondorian Fire and Blood of NĂºmenor.

@electronjonHaha thanks for doing the calculation! Did you factor Faramir in there?

And technically, thanks to Longbeard Map-Maker, it can really just quest for how ever much it wants!.

Looks solid and awesone, but you did break the rules. You played an unique ally three times. YOU CANNOT PLAY THE GAME BREAKING BOMBUR ALLY THREE TIMES!!! No wonder you generate infinite resources. I think this deck needs major retooling now.

@DurinVoronweWow good catch! I must completely rebuild now.

@MikeliusI think it's more likely that the designers will remove the encounter card that enables the combo in the Nightmare version. Doing an errata for a card, simply because it breaks one scenario seems a bit excessive to me.
