This is my cheesing deck from my progression playthrough, rounded out with cards up to the end of the Shadows of Mirkwood cycle.
General strategy: Get all copies of Unexpected Courage on Denethor to use his ability up to 4 times per round to get the encounter card you want. Mulligan for Song of Kings or Rivendell Minstrel; put Steward of Gondor on , because that sphere is expensive.
Other cards for cheesing the game: Forest Snare for enemies and Strider's Path to ignore some nasty travel effects (and potentially reduce threat in staging area). Swap in Eleanor for cycling through even more encounter cards.
I used a variation of this deck to beat Journey to Rhosgobel in solo. Just swap in some Lore of Imladris.
