Alonewolf87 1908

An experiment, inspired in some ways by Seastan deck, on the Three Hunters deck using the iconic heroes and the new spoiled contract from The City of Ulfast. In this case the diversity between the attachments is the basic rules.

The Dwarrodelf Axe acts as a stand-in for the newly spoiled War Axe.

i have a quite similar deck :ringsdb.com

because of gimli i use well equipped. it is possible to get 2 restricted in the 1. round.

who do you give the one ring? and why no unexpected courage?

I don't like too much the idea of Well-Equipped for the same reason I would probably only play King Under the Mountain after seeing the Dwarf Pipe if possible, that is to say I hate discarding cards :D

The One would go on Aragorn to hopefully combo with Ring of Barahir. I wanted to try to make a deck without that absolute staple which is Unexpected Courage, and since two of heroes have some sort of built-in readying (and we have a few other means around) it seemed like a good opportunity

I have some questions about Aragorn's Response trigger. Does triggering the Response and engaging an enemy in the Combat phase create another defend and attack sequence for that enemy? Or can that engaged enemy be carried into the next round?

Since Aragorn's attack and Response should (usually) come after the enemies attacks step the newly engaged enemy will not be able to attack for that round and, if the engaged player still has available characters, it can then be attacked.

That's actually one the main strenghts of TaAragorn's Response
