Tubarush has a newer deck inspired by this one: Thematic "Battle of Pelennor Fields" - Rohan
This is one of the 2 decks for "Siege of Gondor" in my Thematic Saga run (which includes the 2 PoD quests that are inserted after the 1st quest in Black Riders.) I beat the quest twice in 3 tries on Normal Mode with the Fellowship.
Boons: Anduril is in this deck.
Switching from the threat increasing "Grey Company" quest to this horde of enemies quest meant switching to the Tactics version of Theoden and Eowyn.
Golden Shield on Théoden means he defends with 5 Armor. Snowmane means he can also quest.
This deck is very straightforward to play. Mulligan for either of the above mentioned cards or Unexpected Courage, with Golden Shield probably being the most important by a hair - due to enemy Captains hitting for 5.
