This is a progression style deck I made for Nightmare Hills of Emyn Muil. Only cards up to The Voice of Isengard were considered.

I wanted to experiment with Gríma since I've never made a deck with him before. I found the archetype to be lots of fun to play around with. Lore is such an expensive sphere that it was great to get its cards out more easily.

Aragorn is a great companion for Grima, especially being in the same sphere. This means that threat reduction from Spirit sphere is not necessary; you should be able to beat the quest before threating out. I went with Sam Gamgee as a splash hero here for low threat/high willpower and access to Dúnedain Mark and Sneak Attack; the willpower attachment Sword that was Broken is also a nice bonus here.

Grima gets Keys of Orthanc and Aragorn gets all copies of Dúnedain Mark.

The biggest danger in this quest for this deck is direct damage from treacheries (several cards deal 2 or 1 damage to all questing or exhausted characters respectively). Make sure to use your Warden of Healing at the most opportune moments.

Also, I thought a couple of traps would be fun to throw in, since this deck can have difficulty in killing enemies. Poisoned Stakes is good for this, and Ranger Spikes can help unless it gets attached to the Tunneling Nameless Thing.
