Master of Lore 930

Looking to try out some of the new cards in The Flight of the Stormcaller? Here's a fun deck that includes quite a few of them in one deck.

The basic idea is using Denethor's resources and Beravor's cards to drive your Noldor strategy. You'll want to mulligan for To the Sea, to the Sea! so that you can start pumping out Noldor allies as soon as possible. Getting those Outlands allies onto the table early also helps take care of sailing and questing (and it's fitting given the setting of the latest scenario). Heed the Dream is just ridiculously fun to play (possible in the first round!) to pull out a couple specific cards from your deck.

The engine really gets started when you have Galdor of the Havens and Silver Harp in play with Arwen Undómiel. Discarding to Arwen, gaining the resource, then drawing a card with Galdor's action, and pulling the card back with the Harp, basically means you're getting an extra card and extra resource every round.

I've used this deck to some success in solo play (able to defeat Flight of the Stormcaller) and though attack strength is a potential weakness, it is not insurmountable if you plan your combat well. It could be even better in multi-player when you can give Denethor and Arwen's resources around the table.

Happy questing!
