Hello! The fine gents at COTR were tasked with building a deck live using four heroes. One here was to be cast into the fires of Mt. Doom, while the other three heroes remained. The hosts have kicked it back to the community to see what we can do :)

Now, I will start off and say this is by no means a refined list, but just me essentially putting "thoughts onto paper" or in this case, "thoughts onto a decklist."

I chose to put Elfhelm aside (you can still see him hanging out in the sideboard). If the deck allowed for tactics resources, then I would have stuck with the Rider of Rohan. But unfortunately the mount options seemed slim.

Anyway, this is a questing/support deck. Círdan the Shipwright and Gildor Inglorion start us out with 7 . Not the best, but not bad. Along with them come some auto-includes like Elrond's Counsel and Light of Valinor.

Focusing on Cirdan a bit, I threw in Narya. From there, my goal is to make this deck support other decks at the table. For instance, I envision Narya being used on other players' allies. In case things are getting dicey, however, I threw in Treebeard for some extra assistance. I also included Inspiring Presence to take advantage of Cirdan's high starting threat.

While all the allies have been included with some sort of questing potential in mind, some were included for their support potential. Arwen Undómiel boosts another character's , Ceorl and Rider of the Mark can be passed to other players, the latter of which can also deal with a pesky shadow here and there.

Happy to hear your thoughts, what you'd cut, what you'd add, what is in here that you can't fathom as to why.

Im surprised you didnt add silver harp into the deck since with Cirdan's ability it becomes a draw 2

@chumbathewumbafair point. This was a thought experiment during work, so it is anything but fine tuned lol. I think you could maybe cut a Miruvor and an Ancient Mathom for two copies of the harp.
