The Noldor most often appear arrayed in green and blue. The occasions when red is donned in place of green are few and far between, but they still happen. But purple? I for my part have never seen a Noldor deck using leadership as a primary sphere. Here is my attempt to achieve that feat.

Thematically this deck represents the coming of Gondorian sailors to the havens in the Grey Havens deluxe itself. Or if you choose it could represent a much older tale, when the great fleet of Gondor comes to the aid of the failing realm of Arnor, in the time when the Witch King still ruled over Angmar. Either way, the Steward of Gondor is a worthy counterpart to the ancient elves. Denethor serves his usual purpose: to produce resources. Now you won't actually be spending many leadership resources with this deck, so you need to get at least one of the elves to bow to Gondor and take on that trait. This can be done through In Service Of The Steward, or through a much more nostalgic way, Steward of Gondor. I have to say this may be one of only times I've ever used that portion of the card's text. Preferably you'll put it on Cirdan, as with his ring he'll have the leadership resource icon. This is important, because you dont want to build up resources on Denethor, as he can only move one per turn.

Here's the basic principle of the deck. Get tons of resources and cards every turn. Use resouces to play Lords of the Eldar and cards to play allies. As far as card draw goes, aside from the traditional Noldor options, Denethor provides access to Prepare for Battle from turn one, which is much more consistent than relying on Narya. Dunedain message is great at making sure you see it early on as well. Additionally, I've included Steward of Orthanc in the sideboard to pair with Elven Light if you feel so inclined, though you may need to add more threat reduction. There should be plenty of defense options, from Denethor early game to Warden of the Havens and Guardian of Rivendell later on. Attack power may be somewhat lacking, but Glorfindel, Eregion Survivor, and Guardian of Rivendell with Narya will usually be enough, along with Lords of the Eldar eventually. As a final note, don't worry too much if you can't get the Gondor trait on the elves right away. There should be enough neutral cards to spend his resources on, as well as Warden of the Havens and side quest related cards.

You could think about including some Wandering Exile and a copy each of Erestor and/or Galadriel. As an alternate hero choice Gildor Inglorion could be good.

I like the look of adding Galadriel because of all the attachments. I had no idea Wandering Exile even existed, but I'm glad FFG decided to add more Leadership Nolder allies. Great suggestions!

@Alonewolf87those look like solid additions. I dont have any of them but they look like good fits. Wandering Exile would be a good replacement for Elven Jeweler, and maybebtake out a copy of Linder for Galadriel?

I would take out 1 copy of In Service of the Steward (between 2 of those and 2 Steward of Gondor you would still have 4 ways to get Denethor's resources around) and 1 Lords of the Eldar for 2 copies of Wandering Exile. I would not replace the Elven Jeweler, having the option of putting them into play whenever is most necessary (especially for an emergency defense) is too valuable. I would second going 1x on Lindir and Galadriel
