This is one of the 2 decks for "The Tower of Cirith Ungol" in my Thematic Saga run (which includes the 2 PoD quests that are inserted after the 1st quest in Black Riders.) I beat the quest twice in 6 tries on Easy Mode with the Fellowship.
Boons: Sting, Brace of Coneys Burdens: The Searching Eye
By necessity, a thematic deck for this quest is going to be pretty abstract, since Sam was basically by himself. So this deck represents Sam's fondest memories of his journey --- his time with the Elves in Rivendell and Lothlorien, his time with Gandalf and Bill the Pony. Thematically, Rosie Cotton would belong in the partner deck, but that deck doesn't have Leadership, so here she is. I absolutely love how thematic Rosie's card is.
Imladris Stargazer is the most important card to mulligan for. In each of the 4 losses, it took several rounds to find her.
Then you want to find Vilya. (Master of the Forge will help with that.) Then the army will show up.
Gandalf's main use is to take down the Wraiths on Wings. With this fellowship, I'm not sure it's possible to win without defeating them.
