I really wanted to defeat shadow and flame with a tactics deck. It worked but not every time. The deck itself is quite strong for other scenarios. I didn’t have Tactics Eowyn at the time so having Necklace of Girion, Grappling Hook or Trained for War in your opening end is important if you need to quest. Feint and Háma are key with the balrog otherwise he just prevents you from adding enough allies. I didn’t want to bring too many non-thematic allies but added the eagles in the end. You could replace them with Dúnedain Hunter.
