The Single Core Series continues as I play progressive style using one core set and cards available at the time of the quest's release. The video is here: https://youtu.be/4FscCaBXgM4
In this scenario we get to set our threat to zero, which mean SECRECY! Timely Aid is an amazing card, especially in a deck full of expensive allies. This deck has no duplicate uniques except for Vilya and Light of Valinor. That means you can do a blind Vilya and have an almost guaranteed chance of hitting a good card.
If Vliya is not in your opening hand, you should have Imladris Stargazer or Master of the Forge, Those will help you dig it out.
Use Stargazer in the action window at the end of the Refresh phase to get your cards in order for the next turn, including the one you draw.
For this quest, chump every attack. But get a DĂșnedain Watcher in ASAP! One shadow makes you discard all attachments and that can really ruin your board. Also, Miner of the Iron Hills can remove Counter Spell, but not Weapon Attachments.
Good luck!
