Plasto has a newer deck inspired by this one: A Brand New Friendship

Forget being king, let Bard take the crown for a while.

Brand's got some new friends and they are ready for adventure, like right away!

This deck is all about card replacement and it gears up quick. Play, draw, play play, draw. I look for resource acceleration or a Sneak Attack/Gandalf in my opening hand. Usually by turn 3 I'll hit some combo of Unlikely Friendship, We Are Not Idle, or a game I like to call 'Cram the Brand.' Once that hits, I feel like this deck can outrun almost any quest.

Wait! What is Cram the Brand? Legolas and Gimli love contests, and Brand is up to show his new buds that he can eat the most! Go ahead and use that captain's wisdom, but remember to Cram the Brand. Got too much cram? Impossible! Brand will show you his worth and refill your hand. Meanwhile you get to imagine Legolas and Gimli cheering him on to stuff another one in his mouth.

Brand! Brand! Brand! Brand!

Why not add Steward of Gondor? That always really helps. Also, if you have trouble generating resources, Narvi's Belt on Gimli could help.

This deck used to have 2x steward, but I opted to switch them for Mariners compasses after few plays. The card draw creates quite a bit of resource generation, and most of the cards are geared toward a strong turn one. It’s such a strong card I may put it back as I play more.

@Plasto ok, understandable. Also, for maximum Cramming Brand, maybe add Reforged. Though is Reforging food possible?

and Second Breakfast can additional help recycle cram. with reforged and perhaps some Dwarven Tomb you can cram until collapse ^^

Dwarves tomb has to be spirit, unfortunately. But we could conceivably cram the brand 9 times. He abandons King of Dale for King of Cram. We could possibly get to 12 with an Erebor Hammersmith.
