Truck 1445

Truck has a newer deck inspired by this one: My One Deck (Not a Vilyadeck)

Sometimes card games are very unkind...

This is one of 3 decks that I recently took out in a solo Campaign, with slight mods for incorporating the different heroes. This could be the best of the three, rivaled by my current build, which utilizes Perilous Voyage.

This deck could very well destroy the One Deck challenge.

But alas!

It solely relies on the boon cards Andúril, Sting and Glamdring. Sometimes card games are very unkind with their rules.

Only publishing to help out people with their Campaigns, this deck killed all the quests starting at The Ring Goes South all the way to The Siege of Gondor. I only swapped out to my Perilous Voyage deck when I got to The Battle of the Pellenor Fields when I decided it would be too crippling discarding my whole deck on turn two searching for an ally that wasn't there...

Hello fellow solo campaign player! Love the deck. Seeing as you used such a power trio, did you have any trouble with Journey to the Crossroads? That scenario killed me. I think I ended up getting through it with heros Gandalf, Eowyn (sp), and Beregond (ta). The extra card reveal was brutal though. I'm on to the Battle of Pellenor Fields now and running into a similar problem there, as I have a pretty limited card pool I think I might just have to mulligan a hero switch in here haha

@Pyrodan55, Journey to the Cross-roads wasn't very hard with this deck, but I could see it going wrong. I got a really good hand, (I think with Sting, Andúril, Unexpected Courage and Vilya,) and I got to travel to the Cross-Roads sooner than normal with the treachery that makes enemies engage you from under the Black Gate.

What is your card pool? I might have some suggestions, they might be helpful coming from me, a limited card pool person as well.

Also, I was being a fool in the description, this deck could not beat the One Deck challenge, for it must beat Battle of the Pellenor fields to beat the One Deck challenge.

I have return to mirkwood, khazad deluxe, the entire against the shadow cycle, and the lotr saga expansions haha. Kinda an odd mix

@Pyrodan55, Ok, I'll see if I can help you out.

Just clarifying, only one core, and no Hobbit sagas?

Also, what heroes do you currently have in for your campaign?

@Pyrodan55, based off your information on your comment about the Cross-roads, here you go:

@Truck thanks! This is pretty close to the deck I have, except I'm using Eowyn as an attacker so swap Golden Shield for Herugrim. Gandalf is able to defend quite well with his base stats in this scenario already, so I felt the need to go after more attack power. I think I just need to give it a few more tries, got close last time!

Here is the result of my perilous Voyage deck that spawned from this.
