What way to better further to friendship between Hobbits and Ents then to use the new ALeP contract, The Last Alliance.

You can give Treebeard some Fast Hitch, use Entmoot and Raise the Shire to search for both Hobbits and Ents (even though they will still come into play exhausted).

Slow starting but quite good once it gets going.

Have you considered using Shirefolk to keep your threat low? Maybe instead of Woodmens Clearing.
