This deck tells the enchanting story of the spirited, headstrong village girl Wynfrey (Eowyn) who goes on a journey of self-discovery while accompanied by her pet magical giant space hamster Hamtaro (Beorn) and wise farm falcon Captain Beaks (Faunith). With the help of her friends, Wynfrey will eventually discover that true happiness can only be found by swinging twice for more than 10 damage per swing in a single Encounter Phase, and that it is Hamtaro Time all of the time.

I have no idea what I am doing. I decided to try this game after playing Marvel Champions. It seems pretty fun? This deck has Beorn in it and he's a cool bear guy that is my favorite character from The Hobbit and also seems pretty good at applying pressure to the Encounter deck so the eagles can get rolling. Oh yeah the deck also has eagles in it because eagles are cool. They're expensive but Faunith gets around that limitation pretty well.

Eowyn is the deck's questing queen, though a few of the birds aren't slouches either. Grappling Hooks can be used to burst through locations & quests in a pinch or just for lols.

Sometimes Legolas shows-up and helps fuel card advantage, sometimes he just fucks off and sits around in the deck somewhere with his feet propped-up, fully confident that he's way too far ahead of Gimli to be worried about his high score being surpassed.

I am not responsible for what happens if you build this thing and take it to fight a highly challenging scenario. I'm guessing the gimmick won't stretch that far.

wellcome, fresh blood is always wellcome ;) and sometimes have ideas that are to far away to the old dogs ^^

your deck. monotactik includes eowyn, at least 50 % made right.

do not forget to subtract her thread discount, it is not included in the value. (you start with 26 because of her text)

startingwillpower of 6 is o.k. and good for monotactik. would mulligan for eagles are coming, then your only weakness is ressourses. and, you will see, you need some protection for your bear, perhaps chumpblocking and beorns rage is enough.

Landroval seems to be keeping Hamtaro safe in the games I've played so far?

19 effective health is a lot of health!

its even more if the last hit of the 1. life has more overkill ^^ its expensie, but work, for more adjustments early the Honour Guard can also help.

Faunith doesn't help with your econ any. "play" is different from "put into play" so you still have to pay for the eagle that you add during the quest phase. But the ability is still good to either punch an enemy or add a few more willpower to the quest on demand.

awesome deck idea and love the right up. are the names you gave them from something else in particular?

Yeah that's my mistake with Faunith for sure! I'm so used to other card games that I interpreted his 'play' ability for a 'put into play' ability... but actually it is still pretty useful even if it's not an econ booster, so I think I'll keep him in.

Is there anything else a tactics deck can use, aside from the Horn of Gondor, to help put some gas in the economy tank?

@kevinrbrown, tactics doesn't produce resources very well. I'd throw in Steward of Gondor, and A Good Harvest to play it, and maybe Need Brooks No Delay.

Also Faunith is a she.

If you want to up your economy, sub in Mablung for Faunith and also add Proud Hunters. That should work out quite nicely early game with the Big Bear set to maul most enemies from turn 1.
