This is the deck I used to defeat The Drowned Ruins in my single core series.

Dwarves are really excellent for this quest because you are Underground for most of the quest. Using cards like Bombur and Untroubled by Darkness you can generate massive amounts of and get past those high locations and high Quest points.
This is my favorite dwarf line-up and it is a blast to play. Use the Imladris Stargazer to help the Zigil Miner generate resources and mine Ered Luin Miner and Hidden Cache out of your deck.
