This deck is part of a set of 13 decks, for all details check out the project here: 13 Decks Were Given to the Race of Men
Rating:
- Preferred Player Count: 2 - 4
- Complexity: High
- Time Intensity: High
- Focus: Willpower
Synopsis:
While this might be one of the most complex decks of the entire set, it is extremely powerful when played to its full potential. Due to Power of Command, your starting willpower will be quite high. All heroes are Hobbits and and thus have a low starting threat, which is always a useful asset. You should aim to maximise your draw in the first rounds to give you access to your (many) powerful options. The deck needs some time to build, so early combat can be a problem.
How it's played:
Look for an opening hand with a solid amount of pipes. These will allow you the necessary draw for the remainder of the game. A typical round one would (outside of draw) only play Power of Command, some Pipes and secrecy events. Try to keep a solid hand size (6+) such that Drinking Song has a good value on return. The deck should perform well as long as you don't get short on cards.
Strengths: Early willpower, Deck manipulation, High lategame potential
Weaknesses: Early combat
