Note: This deck may actually play better against the Nightmare version of Across the Ettenmoors! Several of the nastier treacheries are replaced with ones that this deck can better handle, and the nightmare enemies are just as susceptible to traps as their normal counterparts.

I built this to solo against Across the Ettenmoors, which has lots of big Troll and Giant enemies that are not immune to traps. It was a blast to play. Celador really rounds out the control aspect of the Trap archetype with his ability to reduce your by 1 most rounds. Combined with Woodmen's Clearing and I never felt too pressed on threat. Damrod of course does his usual Trap thing, and (MotK) Haleth helps find them and a bunch of other useful attachments. The only thing you should mulligan hard for is Seasoned Forager, which could possibly go up to 3x but is effectively unique so I found 2x better.

The goal is to completely neutralize the otherwise punishing enemies in this scenario with traps. Aim for Forest Snare on Ruthless Hill Troll or if you can swing it (e.g. in combo with Faramir) on a Cruel Mountain-troll. This will ensure that your Emyn Arnen Rangers can contribute fully to questing. Ranger Spikes are always good, but best when they hit the Ruthless Hill Troll or the Coldfell Giant, as those can give you trouble. Generally the Savage Trollspawn aren't too much trouble -- you can use Forest Snare or Entangling Nets to neutralize them.

For questing, remember to count Celador's passive threat reduction ability. I generally like to have an unattached Trap or two in staging to give me an effective boost of 1 or 2 each round. Your heroes will all always commit to the quest. I like to put Leather Boots on Celador and Faramir, as it's handy to get some extra readying.

I did notice some trouble with the treachery No Rest, especially when I couldn't seem to find a Safe location anywhere. While I was able to play around it, it might be worth adding a Miner of the Iron Hills or two. You could probably sub out 1x Guardian of Ithilien or Erebor Hammersmith to make room.
