A long time ago the power of those who dwell underground ruled the armies of the Free Folk. Then the minds of the Folk turned to those who wander the woods for centuries already and to the newcomers in Middle-Earth. Men and Elves tended to themselves and marshalled forces, the Dwarves were forgotten. Sometimes they would call upon Durin's People, but if it is because their service was too weak or because it was too strong they did not understand it, is unknown but the Dwarves were left behind.

There are those who believe it is time for the Dwarves to build their own armies and take up arms themselves. The true power of Erebor has never really been forgotton; Orcs still fear Dwarves more then anything else, Easterlings know the pain of a Dwarven axe all too well and the hatred for the little stubborn holediggers has spread among the Enemy.

This army is a perfect example of the marshalling strenght of the Dwarves. 1 for all and all for 1. If the Dwarves take up arms, they do it well, for the greater good. To defend all Free Folk and their Realms. Dain has sent forth his army from Erebor.

Wanting to leave it at this story, I will write up the keycards etc for this deck.

The goal is to build an army asap. Steward of Gondor/King of the Iron Hills goes on Dain to build up resources and pay Bifur some. King Under The Mountain can go on Thorin. I don't like to discard cards but if you can discard allies it doesn't matter much because of To Me Oh My Kinsfolk. Legacy is also a great draw mechanic. Narvi's Belt goes on Dain to pay for other sphere stuff like Azain and Battlemaster. Raiment goes on Gimli and Azain to buff those two a bit more. Captains Wisdom can be for Thorin or Dain (if you houserule the obvious).

Pump out allies and win is the strategy!

PS Dwarven Sellsword is epic! Once you reach 5 Dwarves Thorin can pay for him all day. Be sure to ditch him on the right time though. ;)

No We Are Not Idle? It is basically a better Captain's Wisdom because it has a much higher ceiling, and is easily made up for when you can get out tons of dwarves due to the billions of resources you are gaining.

Other than that, I love the deck! I maintain a love of dwarves no matter what the community says.

@emorlecallorFirst of all, thanks! I'm very fond of Dwarves and I was thrilled by the new Dwarven Sellsword!

Well, I opted against We Are Not Idle, because then I would want to include Lure of Moria. This would result into 6 copies of cards, where I now have 3 slots left for allies or other cards.

I may post an updated version in the future where I come back from this, but for now I wanted to try this new card. :)
