This deck is meant to be played mainly in multiplayer games, though it can work as a solo deck in some quests. I wanted to build a deck to abuse Idraen, which was a hero I almost didn't played, and it surprised me how well it worked.
Glorfindel is there mainly to take the most advantage of Asfaloth (of course his stats are also great, as always). And Bifur is my third hero because it is great to smooth resources allowing a first turn Asfaloth, or a 2nd turn Mirkwood Explorer.
With an starting threat of just 23, it can keep the most part of enemies in the staging area until you've built up your army. Idraen with a Protector of Lórien is your main defender. With Elven-lights you can boost her defense a lot, and draw a card for each +1 (As long as you have enough spirit resources).
On the other hand, Asfaloth, and Mirkwood Explorer's (once they have 2 or 3 progress tokens on them), can act as "Idraen readying effects".
A Watchful Peace's are great in some quests whithout so many locations, to ensure you can keep the deck engine.
Sideboard cards are some ideas I have to test already. In a multiplayer game, if you must assume the "quester" role, you can replace Glorfindel by Lanwyn, and add Lindon Navigators and Scouting partys to the deck. Beravor is there just to test how it works with the deck in multiplayer games.
