This deck treats the discard pile as an extension of your hand and allows you to pull some crazy things. For instance, if you had two Elwing's Flight in your hand, one could be discarded and the other played for greater effect. Readying two characters would allow you to have some characters for defense or attack or other effects and the third copy is in there for icing on the cake.
If possible playing Lords of the Eldar in concert with Fair and Perilous is a great combo, especially if Glorfindel is on the board. Glorfindel is probably the hardest hitter in this deck and I put three of him in here because dead draw is not a big deal as it will feed your discard shenanigans. Silver Harp is great for when your hand cannot deal with discarding anything and Lindir is in here in case your hand evaporates into thin air.
